It is cordless and increases the efficiency and safety of the user thanks to Bluetooth 5.0. Its 3,350 mAh inductive rechargeable battery provides approximately 80,000 scans per charge. The base/charger has a modular design and is available with various interfaces for standard and industrial communication, including RS-232, USB, standard Ethernet and industrial protocols.

In addition to omnidirectional capture of common 1D, 2D and stacked barcodes, the PowerScan PBT9600 DPX is also suitable for Direct Part Marking (DPM) applications, where codes are applied directly to the item for traceability using various marking technologies such as laser engraving, dot peening, inkjet printing and electrochemical etching. Datalogic's patented 4D learning system automatically sets the best capture parameters and decoding algorithms without having to reconfigure the scanner for each application.
